Products Description
The Bently Nevada 24765-02-01 is a DC LVDT transducer assembly used to measure thermal expansion of large turbine casings. It monitors movement of the machine case relative to its foundation during startup and normal operation.
A rod connects the LVDT to the turbine casing. As the casing expands, the rod moves the LVDT core, producing a conditioned electrical signal for display and alarm processing by the monitoring system. This model offers a 50.8 mm (2.0 in) linear range and includes a spring-return mechanism. The LVDT is installed inside a protective, weather-resistant housing for industrial environments.
