Its large probe tip supports the extended measurement range required to monitor relative movement between the turbine rotor and casing.
This configuration has an M30 × 2 threaded case, no unthreaded section, a 60 mm overall case length, and a 5.0-metre integral cable without armor. When combined with a compatible 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor, it forms a non-contact system with a 12.7 mm linear range and a nominal output scale factor of 0.787 V/mm.
